April is National Poetry Month!

We are kicking off National Poetry Month exploring different types of poems, and different ways to write poetry. I think the idea of using spoonerism to mix up letters in the words of the poem (as found in Runny Babbit) and making a poem into a comic strip (as demonstrated in Poetry Comics) are such fun ideas. I hope students will have fun using their imagination and creativity as we explore poetry together this month.
