National Poetry Month

Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? Since we can't be together at school right now I will be sharing different types of poems on a "Write it Wednesday" padlet linked at the top of the library blog on the right. I also love the Shel Silverstein website, it has so many fun poetry activities. You can find a link to this website under "online links" to the right or linked in the picture below.

Read Across America

This week we are remembering Dr. Seuss and talking about why we celebrate Read Across America on his birthday. We are also doing a few Seuss related activities and discovering how fun reading can truly be. One of the things I am sharing with students in the website Seussville with so many fun activities involving Dr. Seuss and the books he wrote. Click on the picture below to check it out.
