I also reminded student of two great resources, World book online and Utah's Online Library, where they can find great information and maybe learn some new things they may not have known before. You can find these resources to the right listed under online links. This week we are talking about celebrations from around the world,
some tied to Christmas and some a totally separate holiday all together.

Reading Marathon
Throughout November we are participating in a reading marathon sponsored by PBS and reading every day for 20 minutes (or a total of 600 minute for the month.) Mrs. Morley has created a google form for you to track your reading on and here is a link to the PBS website if you'd like more information. For reading every day, or a total of 600 minutes, at the end of November you can log your reading on the PBS website and earn an adventure pass that will give you admission and/or coupons to do fun things around town. Happy Reading!

Book Fair
Keep an eye out for information on our online book fair that will be running from Oct. 4-17. Though it will be all online, I have ideas to still make it a fun event for students. I will be sharing some of my ideas with students during our library time this week. Book fair homepage
