This week I am demonstrating how students can use the researcher and put books on hold at home. You can access the researcher by clicking on the "researcher" option under online resources to the right of this blog. Once there, students can log in with their student ID as their username and their last name as the password. Once they find a book they want to check out, simply click the hold button, verify that they do want that book on hold, then Mrs. Morley will be notified and will get the books students request as soon as they are available. Let's Celebrate!

  This week we are talking about celebrations from around the world, 
some tied to Christmas and some a totally separate holiday all together.

I also reminded student of two great resources, World book online and Utah's Online Library, where they can find great information and maybe learn some new things they may not have known before. You can find these resources to the right listed under online links.

Reading Marathon

Throughout November we are participating in a reading marathon sponsored by PBS and reading every day for 20 minutes (or a total of 600 minute for the month.) Mrs. Morley has created a google form for you to track your reading on and here is a link to the PBS website if you'd like more information. For reading every day, or a total of 600 minutes, at the end of November you can log your reading on the PBS website and earn an adventure pass that will give you admission and/or coupons to do fun things around town.
