I am so excited to be physically back in the library with students!
We have been spending a bit of time talking about library behavior and how the library is organized by alphabet or number order. Since we haven't been coming to the library for awhile we're working hard to get back into the swing of how/where to find books and keeping the library organized. Here is a game I will be introducing to students this week that helps us practice alphabet and number (Dewey) order.
This week I am demonstrating how students can use the researcher and put books on hold at home. You can access the researcher by clicking on the "researcher" option under online resources to the right of this blog. Once there, students can log in with their student ID as their username and their last name as the password. Once they find a book they want to check out, simply click the hold button, verify that they do want that book on hold, then Mrs. Morley will be notified and will get the books students request as soon as they are available.
