Book Fair Next Week!

Next week is our final book fair of the year, and we saved the bext one for last. Yes, it is a BOGO (buy one get one) book fair...for every item that you buy, you get another item of equal or lesser value for free! We are looking for volunteers to help at the book fair, you can sign up HERE to help.

April is National Poetry Month!

We are kicking off National Poetry Month exploring different types of poems, and different ways to write poetry. I think the idea of using spoonerism to mix up letters in the words of the poem (as found in Runny Babbit) and making a poem into a comic strip (as demonstrated in Poetry Comics) are such fun ideas. I hope students will have fun using their imagination and creativity as we explore poetry together this month.
